Notes

This was a 4.5 mile on the Cliffs of Solway Tide. It was a good workout for me on soft grounds but I worked hard. My foot did not present any probs to my surprise. Last night I had several complaints on the right foot. It was a beautiful scenery run in the woods to start with and then with the sights of the open ocean facing the Irish Sea and with wilderness of the South West Coast of Scotland.

The route is pretty familiar to me over the last 24 yrs but had not run there since 4 yrs ago. Good workout for the cardio and the stamina, lower back muscles, hips & glutes. I felt strong although slightly tired in the end due to not having anything to eat prior to the run. Franc and I had some good food thereafter. Franc loved the course and enjoyed an easy run for him.

It was an interesting run and day thereafter. We visited Evgenia's Berry Tree in the Woods. It has grown so much (now 17 ys) the same age as Evgenia. Its beautiufl orange berries and blossom very much resembled that of a female tree if one could say that plants and trees have a specific sex. It was beautiful and very emotional to touch the 17 yr old orange berry tree that has now layed its roots deeply to the ground. There is no more powerful thing than expressing Love and Meaning via nature. It came so close to my heart.
