This run started out hard. My left shin/calf was very tight and my left foot was "slapping" the ground. It took about 6 miles to work itself out. For the first part of the run I felt like I had no energy. Even had a side stitch for awhile. After I took a gel at about 6.75 miles I began to get better and the pace picked up.
