Notes

Pretty happy about this run. I felt pretty great for the entire thing, which was my goal but I didn't actually believe it would happen. By great I don't mean ready to sprint or anything, just not dying. Anyway, stopped to pee in the first mile in the woods, awkward with so many people running by but I had company. Also stopped to take off my long sleeve. So if you adjusted to that time it would be under 3, but I don't. The first couple miles were probably too fast, especially considering the pee stop. I didn't have a watch so I just added 7 minutes at each mile stop to figure it out. I think I was going around 650 pace for a good chunk at the beginning, but then settled back and slowed a bit. At mile 18 my left leg really started cramping up, so I got gatorade at all the stops after that and either I ran out the cramp or the gatorade helped. This is by far my best boston, so I'm happy. Also because I ran right around the qualifying time I was surrounded by a lot more people than normal. I think I usually hit the spot in between waves, because of walking and dying, so I'm used to only a couple runners around me. This time there was a lot. So my mom and sister didn't see me. But I did hear cheers from Mccann and Jeremy, and Emily Dudley. It was a good run.
