Actually did the workout I planned on doing saturday. Started out with a mile warmup with my dog. I ran on the sidewalk so my dog would have woods to pee/poop (which she didn't) and it was extremely icy. But that mile ended up being 8 minutes. Then I went inside quickly to pee, and got to it. The uphill section was usually 3 minutes, roughly because I used running time for the whole workout, and the miles were usually 640. The last mile, mile 5, I ran the whole thing quickly. That came out as around 540. Then the cooldown was right below 8 minutes, like 740 or 50. I'm guessing the uphill sections were right around 6 minute pace, both because the elevation thing says that the hill ends right at the half, and because it seems reasonable to me.

Good workout. Any workout I actually do is good. I was going to go longer on my cooldown but it seemed like it would just be junk miles. By that point I was going slow. The uphills were a really good effort. I felt pretty beat but I kept going. I think I start too soon, as the uphill is a good 15-20 seconds from my driveway. Next time I might start at the short downhill before the uphill. Once I got past monihan it wasn't really that bad of a hill. Long, but not extraordinarily steep. According to running ahead this is actually 1.02, but I'm just assuming the 0.02 is wrong, because it is easier that way.
