Notes

9.5 x 2 - perfect weather. First long run on pavement since 4/6. Never really pushed the pace, just kind of eased into it and made sure not to slow down in the hills. Definitive improvement is always nice.

planned on closing the store and going to the track for a change, some wise men have told me I really need some speed work. But, I got off early and felt like making up for yesterday. Was not hard to talk myself out of a track workout - I will do it sometime soon. Did one loop and felt fine so I did it again. Not nearly as hard as a nasty long trail excursion that leaves one dizzy and depleted. Bring it on monkey.....not really, I'm still scared.

Brought the race shoes because I was planning on a short tempo track run and didn't want to waste time going home after work and switching, hope my leg and foot region feels ok tomorrow.
