Just a short and easy run before the half-marathon tomorrow.
So ... I've been dealing with a sore core for weeks now. It's my mid/lower front core. After most runs I feel it, after tougher runs I really feel it... to the point where when I'm sleeping at night and I turn, the discomfort wakes me up. At first I thought it was just sore muscles, but now I'm thinking it may be a sports hernia. It would go well with the iguinal hernia I had stitched up a few years ago! It's something I can run and live with for now, but I have started icing it more frequently - something I should have started doing a long time ago. I may go see a doctor about it, but I don't think it will change my plans at all over the next six weeks or so.
