Easy, long run out at the airport. Felt very strong throughout. Kept it slow at first (to the left, which dead-ended at 8:00 minutes). Back to the parking area and picked up a sports drink bottle (1/3 drink, 2/3 water ratio). Headed out toward the Plover River turn-around.
Actually timed several miles where the trail markers were available. Using the lap counter on my watch, I came in at 8:50 (mile 4) 9:00 (mile 7), and 9:22 (mile 8). So, I think at 1:30:00 run, an average pace of 9:30/mile is close.
With a snack and some more fluids, I felt like I could run another hour.
