Notes
Two reasons why this PR is crap. One, I didn't reach my goal of breaking 10 minutes. And more importantly, two, when I had to make a decision to catch the guy in front or back down, I backed down. I didn't want to, but I did. I tried not to, but I still backed down. I recognize that as the weakest part of my running right now - the tough it out part, the finish part, the who-can-endure-the-most-pain part. I realize I have a long time before my next competition. I'll use this next week off to rest and set some summer goals for running.
