Notes
I was walking through town when I saw this huge crowd of people. They announced a race was going to happen in 90 minutes. I found out it was a 5k, with a huge purse for first, second, and third place. I ended up getting 8th. There was a good field to run with, and this was by far the hardest 5k ever. There is no flat ground here, so the entire second half of the 5k was uphill. By uphill, I mean up a mountain. I enjoyed the run in retrospect, but I feel I underperformed. My legs were like lead at the end, which is not unexpected. There's a race on the 24th of November - plan on doing it (a 10k). Should be good competition bc there's a large cash prize again.
