Notes

That 5:17/mile pace was due to the fact that I had a positive split...a huge positive split. My mile break down (more or less): 5:05, 5:12, 5:20. I felt smooth and light on my feet until halfway through (lap 6-7ish). I knew I was slowing down and I tried to fight. I kept on telling myself to go with Hoover, go with Hoover, but this time, my body wouldn't follow my mind. I got an awesome sleep and ate right, so it's a mental thing, though I went out at a pace I thought I could hold - that I know I'll be able to hold in the future, though I'd rather it be sooner than later.
