I went out in the afternoon before heading down for Grandma Chick's birthday. I decided do go down Menomonee to the Fruit Loop, run the whole thing, and come back. It ended up being right on 9 miles, which was pretty convenient. The other really nice thing was that I was able to stay off the pavement for nearly the entire run. It felt wonderful on my poor feet after being on the pavement all winter. Not a bad way to finish up the week. Somehow, 82 miles felt a little bit like a down week (aside from the 23 miler on Sunday, that is).
