Tom and I met at Whitnall Park near the Botanical Gardens. We went through the perimeter of Whitnall and then out onto Root River and followed that to Forest Home-92nd all the way to the service road entrance back into the Botanical Gardens. We backed off the pace after a couple of miles because I was not really paying attention to what I was doing, then kept it pretty easy the rest of the way back. I felt pretty good again...not rusty at all. I did not even mind running in the rain today. Maybe this down time is reigniting the motivation that I was beginning to lose.
