I got out to the Bugline in the afternoon and went pretty easy on my out-and-back toward Merton and back. Despite the soreness in my calves and the balls of me feet from yesterday, my stride actually felt pretty good. I felt kind of dead out there, unfortunately, and the run was not the most enjoyable, but I kept it easy to help recover from the race two days ago and the long run on hilly, uneven terrain yesterday. My GPS's battery died just before the 8 mile mark, so I estimated the time.
