By the time it looks like a pretty bad race but it really wasnt that bad... This meet has small competition so it is usually raced for placing so we can win the meet... Last year I went out in 5:10 and ran a 27:26 in really hot weather and the same happened this race. I eased up at the start for the first 150 meters i moved up really fast and looked to my left to see all the lewis runners moving up so i settled down a bit and just chilled I probably got back to 50th and moved up a bunch! I ended up taking 18th overall and we won the meet so i gotta be happy with that but from here on out its about running fast we have Grand Rapids and Conference left!
