Notes

Sharpening workout after work before church. 4 x 400m intervals with 400m recoveries. Was kind of dreading this workout, since the one I did a few weeks ago didn't go so well but I think I nailed this one. Wasn't shooting for any time goals on the fast intervals, just tried to run fast and steady for 400m. Pretty sure I ended up keeping them all under 7:00 pace. Felt good the whole workout, even ran faster on the easy sections and recoveries. Nice day, 80 degrees, overcast, 35% humidity, wind SE at 13 mph. Good run.

I guess the trick to thinking I nailed the workout was just not remembering the previous one and start out slow. This one actually was pretty close. Fast splits were 6:54, 6:32, 6:19 and 6:22 for a 6:32 average. Last workout was 90 degrees and sunny and splits were 6:13, 6:32, 6:34 and 6:28, for a 6:27 average, so I was actually slower, but mostly it was that slow first interval that I ran really easy. Recoveries were faster although that doesn't really mean anything.
