4 x 400 m intervals with 400 m recoveries. HOT AND SUNNY! 91 degrees, 27% humidity, wind SSE at 15 mph. Supposed to be a sharpening workout for Saturday's 5k race but this wasn't too inspiring. Supposed to be 1 mile race pace on the intervals which I thought was close to 6:00 pace, but I sure petered out there on the last couple. Not looking very good for a fast 5k, at least I know to go out a little on the conservative side now!
Split paces on the fast intervals was 6:16, 6:32, 6:35 and 6:31.
