Bow Tie Classic. Not a particularly fast meet for anyone, but my race still didn't go that well. Legs have felt shitty all week and this race wasn't an exception. Went out right off Carey for the first 2-3 laps; 409 pace of 65-66 felt fine aerobically but my legs were having none of it. Laps 2-6 was in second with no contact with everyone with Carey too far out of reach and everyone else trailing me. 809 split was something like 2:15. Died pretty badly the last 600 and got passed by Arvind and Sam. Sometimes it's hard to keep things in perspective, but this was race was really timed weirdly coming off thanksgiving break and just so early in general. This is also the fastest I've every opened an indoor season, but that's not really saying much. This week of training was pretty pathetic, but looking forward to the next few weeks, since I should be able to really get things going.
