Didn't run the past 2 days because of the move to Blacksburg. It's been pretty nonstop. I drove the entirety of the 11.5 hours, stopping to sleep for a few hours in Kentucky, then got here and immediately had to move in, and realized how much stuff I need to buy for the new apartment. Has been fun getting set up and seeing the new area, but I'll be happy to be settled in soon.
I really like Blacksburg so far. Decent amount of bars and restaurants, along with a ton of stores/chain places. Everything is built with a fairly modern style which is surprising since I was expecting an old town feel. Not to mention it is absolutely beautiful here being surrounded by the mountains and huge trees. VT campus is huge and somewhat intimidating but really pretty. Maybe I'll be less rosy when classes start in 9 days but so far so good. Also got to meet my roommate Tim who seems like a chill guy, but he took off for the weekend to go to a friend's wedding.
