1500m at Maryland Invite. Weather was absolutely terrible for this race, about 34 degrees with some wind. Legs also felt pretty trashed from this week of training. Race went out extremely slow in around a 71-72 and then I took the lead for the next 600-700m. Kind of wasted some energy but not much you can do when things are that slow. Pretty bad position with 400m to go but I made a pretty strong move to pass Leo and get going. Leo ended up getting me in the last 50m and ran about a second faster. Pretty average race, not much more to say other than that Schwartz is a 4:19 full mile guy and only ran 4:12 today and that he's not the only one.
