My legs were still tight from the race on Saturday. But, the whole run was fun and comfortable. One thing that I noticed recently is that I am burning much less calories during my runs. Checking the old logs, I noticed that I was right and I have been burning at least 20% less calories in the long runs. That is interesting since I do not see a huge difference in my HR. Probably I am running more easily because of some more powerful muscles that I have now. For example for the run today I burnt around 998 calories for which I would have consumed at least 1,200 calories a year ago.
