COMMENTS: Good to finish 4 miles in this heat. I was breathing 4/2 for the first 2 miles. Had some Gatorade at the 2 mile mark while walking. Mouth was really dry by the last mile and started to feel tired. Not sure I could do this with hills without walking. Hoping to run the 4 miler on July 8 with a goal of 37-38 mins. Really wanted to take it easy today and go into four miles slowly. I still feel like I haven't fully recovered from Sat. race.
