COMMENTS: Good run. Very good route without many hills. A little warm but not too hot. Had a bowl of Frosted Mini Wheats and OJ/water about 1 hr before running. Felt like effort was 7-8 but the pace was a little quick. I may have started off too fast. Breathing 4/2 for the first mile. 3/2 the next 2 and 2/2 some of the last mile. I can tell when the latic acid is building fast. Had a Vanilla Hammer Gel at mile 1 with a flask of water. Started to get a stitch right after that but fought it off. It was good tasting. felt like really thick syrup. You HAVE to wash it down with water. Managed to take it without stopping. Felt good the last part of the run and had a flask of Gatorade when I finished.
