COMMENTS: Today was a mental test. I had a Clif Bar P/B and milk right before I left. Saw 4 other runners and a bike on the road today. With about 4 miles to go I was feeling terrible and I needed to use the bathroom. And I couldn't just steep into the woods!! My motivation was not all that great this morning but usually after I get going I feel better. Today wasn't the case. I kept going and noticed I was more tired than usual and my HR rate was higher than usual but I kept going. I couldn't tell what my pace was but I was sure it was over 10min/mile. At 2 miles to go all I wanted to do was finish. With 1 mile to go the outside of my left calf got tighter and I was concerned for a little but didn't think it would be a problem if I kept going another half mile. When I finished I realized I had been going at a pretty good pace. Thats partly why I was more tired. Got home and went straight to the bathroom.
