COMMENTS: 18 laps will drive you crazy! I stopped for 20 secs on lap 9 to get a drink so my time would have been 37:14 but I have to start accounting for stops. I will have make stops during a race, drinking on the run is impossible. Felt good, effort about 6. Occasionally one knee or the other woud complain a little then go away. Didn't have any trouble finishing just boring. Ice bath when I got home and my ankles started iching so I quit after 8 mins. Had a Clif Bar (Crunchy PB) 1.5 hrs before I left. Didn't notice any advantages although I basically ran through lunch without feeling out of energy. No side affects, a little nausea on the cool down lap but it was a long run for me and it started to get hot. Did good staying out of zone 5 with a max of 163. I left the HR timer on while Matthew and I walked around and watched baseball at Forestview which is why the avg HR is low and the cal is high.
