Notes

I put in a really high-quality day today. I did a workout of 6x[2 min ON, 2 min OFF] with Charlie on the loop by the Jardin Botanique, which went well. For the first and last reps I did about 1:50 for the lap (about 5:05 pace), and for the middle four I held just about 1:52's (5:10 pace). Considering the size of the hill on these laps, I'm quite pleased with this strong pace, and it felt pretty good too. After the workout I cooled down for almost a mile, and then did 4x20 sec strides to really get the legs spinning, which felt great. Then cooled down for another mile or so to round out the 7 mile day, and then did a little bit of core just for good measure. All very good things, and I'm looking forward to the recovery days up next..
