I did a straight-up tempo this afternoon, going for 30 minutes on the loop out by the airport. I felt fairly good, though it was tough toward the end, and I ended up doing 5.2 miles in the 30 min, to average about 5:46's. Considering that this had a few good hills, and it's still so early, I'm happy with that. Finished out the rest of the run (warm up and cool down) at a decently strong pace as well, which was also good to see.
