Today was the real test of how my hip was doing as day 2 of running in a row, and I decided to go to HG to run field miles to help keep the leg safe. I did 4 loops with shoes, and then took them off for one more loop (to make it 5.5 miles) plus 2 laps around the track to bring it to an even 6. I also did form drills before starting to help loosen up (especially the hip/glutes) and I rolled both before and after the run. The hip actually ended up feeling good for the whole run, which I was very pleased with. I kept up a really good pace (well under 7:00s for all of it, and the last two laps on the track were at about 6:30 pace while not feeling that fast) which was great, and everything felt good. I'm a little sore from abs yesterday.
