Took 3 days off and the knee feels slightly better but it is definitely still sore. It was definitely noticeable throughout the run but there are also times when it basically goes away. Unfortunately, attempting a tempo after 3 days off appears to not be a great idea or maybe I'm just not in as great of shape as I thought. Did a little over a mile and a half with Nutmeg before giving in to a side and back ache. When he doubled back I jumped back on for the last half mile or so. Pretty long recovery before starting another with Nutmeg and making it 2 miles before letting him go faster. It seems that I was feeling alright going just over 6 minute pace but dipping faster than that was tough for me. I ended up doing two 1 minute faster pieces after that to see if that would help get my knee straightened back out. I don't think it did. This run felt good enough but my knee was very sore after.
