I was in Decorah for Retro's bachelor party but couldn't get there in time to go to boating. So I made the most of my free time and went for a longer run. It was really hot and I ran in the heat of the day. I was really hurting after River Trail and Palisades but I wanted to soak up as much of the trails as I could. I headed to Van Peenan and was climbing hills at a pretty sad pace, but overall it was a great run. It had been too long since I ran there.
