Pretty solid race at the alumni meet. I wasn't sure of my fitness at all so I just stayed in the front pack for most of the race. I might have done some work leading if Gonzo hadn't been up there taking care of it. At the halfway point I could tell I was feeling pretty good and started to creep forward with 3 to go. At 2 to go I made a move to go to the lead from about 4th and Gonzo made that a lot tougher for me than I had expected. I didn't lead long as Sonic went by me with about 100m to go. He looked really good and I didn't think I had much shot of staying with him so I just tried to stay close for 2nd. Overall, I am really happy with the race considering my training and might look into some more racing now.
