2 mile time trial today at green acres. The people I usually run with got out quick and I ran the first part of the race just off the back of the main pack. Really had to do it myself pace-wise. Came through the mile in 6:00, after that I picked up the effort to try to catch Colin, Timmy, and Arun. Caught Colin and Timmy at the last straight, but never got Arun. Finished in (my watch time) 12:00.72, but never got a time from Ashton. At first I was very disappointed with today, but with some reflection on other people's results, my recent mileage increase, and the lack of really any speed work I realized it wasn't too bad of an effort. Shout out to Zheng though. On to the real subject of today though, the second installment of TASTY ARTICLE TUESDAY.
