16:55.51 (watch time) 5000m time trial at Ferry. Got out decently well and settled in behind Jacob for the first 2ish miles. 400 in 76, 800 in 2:33, 1600 in 5:09. Felt decent at the mile, but kinda fell apart after. Lost Jacob sometime around 2800m and split 5:26. Legs actually felt oddly good during mile 3. but I slowed down a ton and split 5:40. Last 200 was super slow (41), didn't have any kick in me. Pretty shitty race, 4 seconds slower than Spartan. Disappointed, but not really surprised. I've felt pretty shitty the last couple of weeks so a good showing was unlikely, but I didn't expect to run this slowly. Probably should have tried to stay with Jacob, but I might have blown up so who knows. First 5k on the track as well. Annoyed to end the last 2 season on a bad note, but it just gives me more motivation to make sure its doesn't happen again. Also wore victories, which I will probably refrain from doing in the future.
