Notes
Weather was low 70s+71 dew point at the start and then about 80 by the end.
Finally broke the long run curse. I thought the heat wouldn't be an issue but I was drenched by 4-5 miles. I haven't run down Gallatin in a long time, so I headed that way since I've been cursed by the Boomer lately. Was rolling pretty good and then around 10-11, I started slowing down despite keeping the same effort. It was probably dehydration because I lost almost eight pounds of sweat, which is like 5% of my body weight.
Saw the most disturbing/disgusting/sad road kill ever...a dead possum with a bunch of tiny pink hairless babies around it. They didn't get hit, probably died as a result of dehydration or something. Almost made me puke.
