Plan was 4-3-3 at 6:10, 5:45, 5:20. I didn't make the times faster because it was really hot and I had to adjust. Felt pretty sluggish at first but loosened up and had to back off the last two miles of the first section. I was surprised with how relaxed the 5:45s felt, despite three of them being into the wind. On the fast one, the first mile wasn't too bad but the second became pretty tough. I covered the first 1/2 of that in over 5:30 pace and decided to call it at two miles.

A month ago, when this was my hardest workout of the week, I would have made myself stick with it. I have two more hard sessions this week and really didn't need to push myself too hard here, especially with the heat and headwind being worth 10 or more seconds a mile.
