Plan was 12x1km with 90s rest, working from HM to 10k pace.
My initial plan was to work from 5:10 to sub 4:50, but it took me a while on the first interval to get down to 5:10 pace. Since I ended up a little bit faster, my plan was to run the first 6 at 5:00ish, the next 3 at 4:55, then the next 3 at 4:50.
Felt really good through the first six and debated dropping down to 4:50, but stayed with the plan. It worked out correctly because while I was feeling good, the 11th got tough and the 12th was really tough.
Averaged just under 3:03 for the 1ks.
