Notes
Woke up early and when I checked the weather at 5am, it was already 74 with a 41 DP. Got out the door an hour later with MI rising to about 150 by the end.
1st section: I could tell my quads were tired from the hills/weights. The pace was easy but my legs were a little resistant on the hills
2nd section: started to get hot and felt the short climbs but was able to run the pace without much trouble
3rd section: first mile was tough because I had a headwind with the addition of 730am traffic on a 50mph road, which made lots of wind bursts. As soon as I got off the main road, I gained some time. Last mile was a little bit tough and got a little nauseous from the Mexican food last night and coffee this morning. Pushed the last 1/4 mile to make sure I got under 5:30 and was tired at the end.
Ran much better than two weeks, even though the MI was about 15 degrees warmer. Hopefully that means I'm coming around some.
