Notes

Met up with Reed for a run at the forest. I'm not sure exactly how far this is, so I'm calling it 6.5 per loop. Reed and I ran the first loop in 48:44 and then I ran another in 36:50, with a mile cool-down at the end. It wasn't very bad aerobically at all but it felt like I was sprinting because of the turns, rhythm changes and all of the mud and puddles. I don't think I can ever race a trail half marathon or under because it's so mentally tiring to try to run fast and pay attention to the terrain.

After the run, my groin was pretty worn out, as well as my hip flexors, most likely due to using my muscles in a different manner than I do while running on the roads.
