Weather was about 72+65.

Goal was to work down to 5:40 average.

1st lap= 22:42. Very easy and smooth

2nd lap=22:02. Hill section was a little bit tough but felt good

3rd lap= 22:09. Felt really good at first but then tried to be conservative so I didn't die on the last lap.

4th lap= 22:13. Thought I could attack but my legs were getting pretty worn out, so I maintained.

5:39 average for 16.03 and pretty tired at the end. I ran the .03 because I was expecting the watch to beep but forgot I had been splitting it manually after every lap. Aerobically, I was good but my legs were getting really achy. Cooled down over 8:00 pace and had achy legs the rest of the day. When I traced this, it came out it 16.25. Not a huge difference, but gives me about 3-4 more seconds.

I frequently find out this happens a lot (unplanned) but I ran this same exact session last year. I had Connor then and remember it being easier with similar weather. But maybe that was due to the company.
