I'm really happy with this workout. My goal was a 95-105% MP progression with 20:00 at 5:46-47, 15:00 at 5:30, 10:00 at 5:13-14. Normally I run these a little longer but I wanted to be good for Saturday. The 95% MP running was very easy and it was hard to find my rhythm. I ran the MP running into a headwind and up a very slight climb, but it still felt easy. The 105% MP part wasn't bad at all and I feel I wasn't even near my A.T. despite running over rolling hills. I cut it a little over a minute short because I ended up back at the school and didn't want to run the last lap around the track at 5:10 pace and look like a toolbag because there was a class walking on it.
I wore my A4s again and really liked them. I think I will wear them Saturday, even if the rest of my Saucony stuff doesn't come in.
I don't know if I was fresh because it's been several days since I've run something fast, or the light mileage the past two days, but this shows me I'm in a lot stronger half marathon shape than I was in the fall.
