Notes
Took a while to get started because of constant rain. Finally out the door at 11:30.
Weather was lower 70s with DP in mid 60s.
Felt bad from the start and couldn't get in a good groove. The weather was getting balmy, so I went shirtless after my pit stop at home and was greeted with a cooling rain for 3-4 miles before the sun and humidity came out again.
Felt a little better on the second loop and was patient with the pace, rather than getting a little hungrier on the second loop, which I typically do.
Started getting really thirsty after 15 miles, so I drunk the hose that comes straight from the quarry. It tasted like crap but I'd rather deal with a jacked up stomach later than be insanely thirsty at the moment.
Kept a good rhythm going up the long hill back home.
