Notes

Weather just under 30 and not much wind. Ran The Moneymaker (1x2 miles, 4:00 jog, 1x1 mile, 3:00 jog and 8x1/4 mile with 1:00 jog) and ended up running 10:44 (5:13, 5:31), 5:01 and 72.4, 69.0, 69.8, 69.4, 71.9, 69.8, 67.9, 68.7 for an average of 69.8. I ran through my old two mile marker in 10:37, which was the same as the last time I did this workout and the rest of the stuff was faster. Hopefully this means I'm getting close to sub 70 half-marathon fitness. The mile was pretty tough and I really struggled the last couple of quarters. I can tell I need to become more efficient at sub 5:00 pace, but that will come in the next few weeks.

I'm pretty happy with this workout because I ran faster than I did before a couple of weeks before The Middle Half, and that was after eight weeks of fast workouts, while I just ran my first fast workout last Saturday. I also ran significantly faster than I did about ten days before running 32:12 at the Franklin Classic.
