I was only shooting for sub 5:20 pace because my legs were pretty dead yesterday but this turned out really well. I ran two 2.1 loops around the park and my splits were: 5:19, 10:32 (5:13), 11:03 (31), 16:18 (5:15), 21:27 (5:09), 21:57 (30) for a 5:13 average. That was faster than my progression on the track a couple of weeks ago and the fastest I've run out here.

I felt really strong and in control the whole way and could have done another lap. About 20-30 minutes later (I was hoping to do these much sooner than I did) I ran 4x200mish strides pretty hard.

Good and motivating session. I still have a long way to go but my fitness is increasing.
