Ran to the soccer fields, did some strides and then went into the hill blasts. Quads felt heavy from the get-go and the first couple of hill blasts were pretty tough. I never felt any worse the last few but my adductors were really worn-out on the way home.

I also decided I'll most likely wear my Free's in my marathon. The Kinvaras feel a good bit bulkier and my footstrike is a lot louder and harder while wearing them. I guess with all of the extra cushioning, my foot can slam into the ground, while with the Frees, I have a softer and quicker footstrike.
