My initial goal was three miles each of 5:30, 5:15, 5:00 but I would have accepted up to five seconds per slower because of the heat, which wasn't too bad initially, but it became really muggy by the end.

The first three felt like I was jogging. I didn't even have to concentrate on the pace, I was just out for a run.

The second three felt really good as well. I had to back off a few times so I wouldn't run too quickly. Normally I have to push a bit to run around marathon effort, but I could tell I wasn't going very hard.

I was really happy with the last three but had to push some the last mile and was tired at the end.

I'm really happy with this considering I am normally terrible at progression runs, I was sucked in sweat because of the humidity and the fact that I don't think I could have touched this before Louisville. This is probably my last beneficial workout before the half marathon, so I'm glad it went so well.
