Ran a mile easy and then for the next four miles, I ran .1 miles hard at the start of every 1/2 mile. I was rolling these pretty quickly and felt ok. I ran this session because I felt guilty for just doing 5k worth of work this morning. Looking back, I should have run my past three road-race "workouts" a little bit slower, taken a short break and did another 5k at the pace. Or just run some harder pick-ups after the race. 5k at 10k pace is a tough workout but I don't feel it's enough volume.
