Notes

Really wasn't looking forward to this. Ran from my place to Long Hollow, to Madison Creek to Hogan's Branch to Happy Hollow to Beech High. It was 90 degrees without any shade on the course and I felt very relaxed until about 10 miles. After 12-13 miles, I started to feel really thirsty and had to stop and walk for a while at 15.4. My pace was very easy and relaxed, I was just getting too dehydrated. Walking on runs is something I absolutely hate to do and I was pretty embarrassed because it was on Long Hollow. Walked for about a mile, jogged for .6 and then walked home. Ended up losing 10 lbs. of sweat on the run, which is a new record. Before the walking incident, I averaged 6:53 pace with ranges of 6:29-7:51 for 15.4 miles. Not bad for an easier effort on a hilly route.
