Plan was 15 miles at around 5:45 pace. I was just going to stick with Alex and not push the pace at all. It was hard to get moving, and we had to zig-zag a bit because of traffic. I felt sluggish from the get-go but after a few miles I was all right. On the 10th mile, I noticed we slowed down a bit and then a couple of minutes later, Alex stopped and walked about a mile back to the start.
As the map shows, the course is reall hilly and I'm going to have to make a couple more modifications than I originally planned.
