Decided to sneak on the Greenway and had to run around the bridge and climb two fences to get on it. I was looking forward to this workout and was going to run 2 miles a little slower than 10k pace, 1/2 mile jog recovery, one mile faster than 10k pace, 1/4 jog recovery and then 8x400m at 5k pace with 200m jog recovery. I hit 75, 85, 83 for my first 1/4 splits and decided to just bag it in. I'm starting to feel a little feverish and knew if I hammered, I'd become more sick. I was hoping to hammer these next two weeks but I'll have to really ramp down the intensity. Hopefully I can keep the miles up and try workout again on Friday.
