Weather was upper 50s at the start and it got pretty humid the second half.
Honestly expected to run around 46:30, with 46:00ish on a good day.
Pack started out slowly and I was only a few seconds off the lead the first mile or two.
Pack then strung out and I was in no mans land. Caught Kevin Castille around 4 miles in or so and then Tyler Mccandless after that. A mile or two later, I caught and passed Joe Moore.
I was trying to catch Craig Curley and Craig Leon but they smoked me on the bridge. R.A. says the bridge was flat but it was a long, freaking climb.
Saw I was coming up on Craig Curley and then passed him in the last couple hundred meters.
Good race, fitness considered. If Cabada didn't cancel and ran 44:21, we would have won the team title and I would have gone home $3000 richer.
