25-30mph winds, 40 degrees with wind chill in upper 20s.

Goal was 4800, 4000, 3200m at 5:00, 4:55, 4:50 pace. Wasn't sure how I would do because of the wind.

1st-14:57. Felt good and strong. Wind was tough on the windy parts but legs were turning over and gas tank was strong

2nd=12:16. Got out pretty fast, with 2:23 first 800m. Wind was tough but gas tank was still really strong. Felt like I would be able to knock out the last one but my legs were getting a little tired. However, I didn't reach that threshold point where I have to fight really hard, so I felt like the last would be attainable.

3rd=crap. My hip flexors totally gave out on me, especially my left. It went from ok to all of sudden going on strike. Was then going to try some 400s with 40s rest but quit just under 200m on the first because my legs had no pop or power.

Frustrating. I feel like I didn't get enough stimulus, my hip flexors just quit all of a sudden. It's sorta the feeling where you go to the gym to work out but the gym closes an hour early than planned, without you knowing about it. You have to leave, but you want to keep going and feel like you still have work to do.

Maybe the wind was 3-5s a mile, who knows I'm not calling this a bombed workout because I was feeling strong. I really wanted this session but oh well. I was debating doing 4800, 3200m and 1600m and now I wish I would have gone for that.

Debating some kind of light intensity tomorrow. Short medium run or light progression or something. But Sunday is my last really, really tough workout, so I need to be ready for that.
